DESCRIPTION
My first project for MI 455 Game Design and Development II. Created a vertical slice of a tactical RPG in four weeks. The project went through a very iterative process: ideation, prototyping, feedback, and refinement. After development finished, we created a pitch deck where we sold the game to the rest of the class for continuation onto the next class, MI 497, where the project would enter full-on production for eventual release and showcase.
Specific things I worked on was implementation of the A* pathfinding algorithm, a Conditional Turn Based battle system using a heap structure, as well as production work and documentation on Notion.
